Study libraries & reading rooms

Seats, shifts and monthly fees, without the register.

Ezyo tracks who has which seat, which shift they are on, when their membership ends, and whether they have paid — and reminds them before it lapses.

The daily problem

A register cannot tell you who is about to leave

Most study libraries run on a notebook and a WhatsApp group. That works for recording money. It does not tell you that eleven memberships expire this week, or that seat 34 has been empty for nine days.

Seat and shift allotment

Assign a seat to a member and a shift to the seat, so morning and evening members can share the same desk without a clash.

Monthly and quarterly fees

Recurring dues are generated on schedule with their own due dates, and part payments stay visible as a balance.

Renewal reminders

A WhatsApp reminder goes out before the membership ends, which is the difference between a renewal and a lost member.

What this is, and what it is not

Worth being clear before you book a demo.

It does

Member records, seat and shift allotment, recurring fees, renewal reminders, digital receipts, member ID and QR cards, occupancy and collection reporting.

It does not

Book cataloguing, ISBN records, issue and return, or overdue book fines. This is a study library system, not a lending library system.

It needs

A WhatsApp Business account for automatic reminders, and a payment gateway if you want members to pay online.

The same engine that runs school fees

A study library and a school office have the same shape of problem: recurring dues, a date they fall due, and a follow-up nobody has time to do by hand. Ezyo was built for that shape first, which is why the library workflow is not a bolt-on.

Frequently asked

Questions schools ask us

Is this for study libraries or for book lending libraries?
It is built for study libraries and reading rooms, where members pay a monthly or quarterly fee for a seat. It is not a book cataloguing system, so if you need ISBN records, issue and return, and overdue book fines, this is not the right fit.
Can we manage seats and shifts?
Yes. Seats can be allotted to members, and a member can be attached to a shift such as morning, evening or full day. That lets the same seat carry more than one member across a day, which is how most study libraries actually run.
How do renewal reminders work?
A membership has an end date. Rules you configure send a WhatsApp reminder a set number of days before it expires, and again after, so a lapsed member is followed up without anyone checking a register. Sending needs a WhatsApp Business account with templates approved by Meta.
What happens when a member does not renew?
Their status changes and the seat becomes available for allotment, so your occupancy view reflects reality rather than last month's list.
Can members get an ID card?
Yes. Member cards are generated from the existing record, and a QR on the card can link to the member's status and payment history within the access rules you set.
We have 60 seats. Is that too small?
No. A single-branch library with 40 to 150 seats is a typical starting size, and the setup is quick because there is not much historical data to import.

Tell us how many seats and shifts you run.

We will set up a sample of your plans in a 30-minute demo so you can see your own numbers, not a generic screen.
